This month’s theme is 'Christmas Elves'

It’s a well known fact that long ago Santa used to give dragons as Christmas presents.
Of course dragons were much smaller then- roughly the size of a chewed up pencil. Santa had to stop once dragons began to grow larger than the children they were being given to.

It’s now the job of this brave elf Buzzbie, to take care of all Santas dragons. Buzzbie tries his best but it’s difficult. He came up with the idea to disguise dragons as Christmas trees. It didn’t really work! If your Christmas tree ever caught on fire it was probably a dragon!

So adorable.. No matter how old I get I'll always love the cartoony christmas characters.

This is a lovely idea and it is beautifully executed. I love your design of the two characters as they look like they have a lot of scope for other media, e.g. animation or 3D. The composition of this piece is fun and shows what the elf may be thinking! Finally, your style of line and choice/application of colour really make this piece individual.
